This advanced program is designed for participants who have previously completed WAAMH’s Reflective Supervision – A Non Clinical Approach foundation course. Scheduled at least 12 weeks after the initial training, this timing enables participants to consolidate foundational knowledge, apply key concepts within their practice, and return with practical insights that enrich the applied learning experience.

The Being Trauma Responsive course has recently been revised for delivery as a half-day online learning session and is an ideal refresher course for those with a foundational understanding of this topic. This workshop will explore how to safely engage with someone affected by trauma and provide practical strategies to support their recovery.

The De-escalation Skills course has been redesigned specifically for an online learning setting and will support workers to recognise when a person is becoming distressed or a situation is escalating. This condensed half-day refresher course is ideal for those with a foundational understanding of this topic and who is seeking practical tools and strategies to effectively respond in ways that promote positive outcomes.
