World Suicide Prevention Day is an opportunity to champion suicide prevention efforts, provide a message of hope and bolster public awareness of how we can all work together towards a world without suicide.
Three million or one in eight Australian will consider suicide at some point in their lives.
Each year, more than 65,000 Australian will attempt suicide. More than 3000 Australians will die by suicide.
