De-escalation Skills Youth

This workshop is designed to help both professionals and those touched by grief to understand its complexities and explore links with mental health and personal wellbeing.

The De-escalation Skills course has been redesigned specifically for an online learning setting and will support workers to recognise when a person is becoming distressed or when a situation is escalating, and it provides a set of tools and strategies to respond in ways that are likely to result in positive outcomes.

The course explores the concept of change - including but not limited to global changes such as COVID - and considers its impact on our work and our wider environment.

With a cumulative wealth of practical experience in working effectively alongside ethnoculturally diverse groups, CrossCultural Intellect specialises in developing strategies for successful transcultural engagement across a range of settings.
